The tension had to be dealt with in a “mature manner,” black religious leader Rev. Don Meredith said at a press conference. He was joined by executives of B’nai Brith Canada, which had called on the government to keep Shabazz out of Canada. “Today is not about dialogue, today is not about building bridges. Today is about partnerships, it’s about real, concrete working relationships,” said Frank Dimant, executive vice president of B’nai Brith Canada. “As you know, there has been violence in the city over the last five years amongst our youth,” said Meredith, of the GTA Faith Alliance. “And so, it is not time for us to look at ways for dividing or bringing individuals in that will divide us. We have to look for opportunities that will bring us together.” The New Black Youth Taking Action network was not invited to Friday’s event, but Meredith said he intends to reach out to its membership. Meredith said he opposed the entry of Shabazz, just as he would oppose the entry of anyone who spread hateful messages. Shabazz is a criminal defence lawyer based in Washington, D.C. who helped organize the Million Man March with Louis Farakhan of the Nation of Islam. He has been quoted as saying at a Harlem rally in 1998 that “the only solution any time there is a funeral in the black community is a funeral in the police community.” He told the National Post this week that his intention was to “preach a message of love and solidarity among black people” at the Queen’s Park rally and said his denied entry into Canada calls into question the sanctity of free speech in this country. Marvin Kurz, national legal counsel for B’nai Brith Canada, said the decision to oppose Shabazz’s entry was “a matter of consistency and principle.” He said the human rights organization took a similar position in the 1990s, when a group of Ku Klux Klansmen “tried to come to Canada and say pretty much the same kinds of things that Mr. Shabazz has said in the past.”
TORONTO — Jewish and black leaders in Toronto stood side by side Friday to quell the “rage and frustration” that followed a decision to block a controversial black American lawyer and activist from entering Canada.
Malik Zulu Shabazz, leader of the New Black Panther Party, missed a speaking engagement at a rally at Queen’s Park on Tuesday because he was not allowed across the border. The New Black Youth Taking Action network, which organized the protest, angrily blamed the “Jewish lobby” for the ban.
Shabazz has stated previously Jews were: "substantially and significantly involved in the African holocaust" and "Zionists are causing problems for people of colour around the world".
He is a previous member of another controversial black group, the Nation of Islam.
BB: The New Black Panthers aren't about civil rights or equality, they represent the worst elements of race segregation and inter racial hatred. Shabazz has an appalling record for both racism against whites and for Antisemitism, he has continually tried to put forward that Israel was behind the 9-11 terrorist attack.
Its good to see that Canada will not tolerate this bigot.

Breaking News with Video:
6 Men arrested for plot to Kill
US soldiers at Fort Dix N.J.
FORT DIX, N.J. — Six Islamic militants from Yugoslavia and the Middle East were arrested on charges of plotting to attack the Fort Dix Army base and "kill as many soldiers as possible," authorities said Tuesday.
"This was a serious plot put together by people who were intent on harming Americans," U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie said. "We're very gratified federal law enforcement was able to catch these people before they acted and took innocent life."

Ft Dix was where the Terrorist Attack was targeting

One suspect reportedly spoke of using rocket-propelled grenades to kill at least 100 soldiers at a time, according to court documents.
"If you want to do anything here, there is Fort Dix and I don't want to exaggerate, and I assure you that you can hit an American base very easily," suspect Mohamad Ibrahim Shnewer said in a conversation last August that was secretly recorded by a government informant, according to the criminal complaint against him.
White House spokesman Tony Snow said Tuesday there is "no direct evidence" that the men have ties to international terrorism.
In court documents, prosecutors said the suspects came to the attention of authorities in January 2006 when a shopkeeper alerted the FBI about a "disturbing" video he had been asked to copy onto a DVD.
The video showed 10 men in their early 20s "shooting assault weapons at a firing range ... while calling for jihad and shouting in Arabic 'Allah Akbar' (God is great)," the complaint said. Six of the 10 were identified as those arrested in the plot.
"What concerns us is, obviously, they began conducting surveillance and weapons training in the woods and were discussing killing large numbers of soldiers," Boyd said.
Christie said one of the suspects worked at Super Mario's Pizza in nearby Cookstown and delivered pizzas to the base, using that opportunity to scout out a possible attack.
The six were scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court in Camden later Tuesday to face charges of conspiracy to kill U.S. servicemen, said Michael Drewniak, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office in New Jersey. They were arrested Monday trying to buy automatic weapons from an FBI informant.
Officials said four of the men were born in the former Yugoslavia, one in Jordan and one in Turkey. All had lived in the United States for years. Three were in the United States illegally; two had green cards allowing them to stay in this country permanently; the other is a U.S. citizen.
Besides Shnewer, the other five men were identified in court papers as Dritan Duka, Eljvir Duka, Shain Duka, Serdar Tatar and Agron Abdullahu. Checks with Immigration and Customs Enforcement show that Dritan Duka, Eljvir Duka and Shain Duka are illegally living in the United States, according to FBI complaints unsealed with their arrests.
Five of the men lived in Cherry Hill, a Philadelphia suburb about 20 miles from Fort Dix.
"They were planning an attack on Fort Dix in which they would kill as many soldiers as possible," Drewniak said.
A law enforcement official, speaking on condition of anonymity because documents in the case remain sealed, said the attack was stopped in the planning stages. The men also allegedly conducted surveillance at other area military institutions, including Fort Monmouth, a U.S. Army installation, the official said.
By March 2006, the group had been infiltrated by an informant who developed a relationship with Shnewer, according to court documents. The informant secretly recorded meetings in August 2006 in which Shnewer said that he and the other suspects were part of a group planning to attack a U.S. military base, the complaints said.
Shnewer named Fort Dix and a nearby Navy base, explaining that the group "could utilize six or seven jihadists to attack and kill at least one hundred soldiers by using rocket-propelled grenades" or other weapons, the complaint said. The Navy base was not named in the complaint.
Fort Dix is used to train soldiers, particularly reservists. It also housed refugees from Kosovo in 1999.
Soldiers at Fort Dix have been training for warfare in Iraq and Afghanistan, said Jeff Sagnip, a spokesman for Republican U.S. Rep. James Saxton, who represents Fort Dix. The base typically has about 15,000 people, including 3,000 soldiers.
"Everything is a replica of what they would face in the field," he said.
The base has been closed to the public since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. There are heavily armed guards at entrances, along with X-ray machines. Yet the main road through neighboring Cookstown cuts through the base and is accessible to the public. A half-dozen locations on the base, including at least two where soldiers were conducting maneuvers Tuesday morning, were only a few hundred yards off the main road.
The description of the suspects as "Islamic militants" renewed fears in New Jersey's Muslim community. Hundreds of Muslim men from New Jersey were rounded up and detained by authorities in the months following the 2001 attacks, but none was connected to that plot.
"If these people did something, then they deserve to be punished to the fullest extent of the law," said Sohail Mohammed, a lawyer who represented many of the detainees. "But when the government says 'Islamic militants,' it sends a message to the public that Islam and militancy are synonymous.
"Don't equate actions with religion," he said.
BB: Nah we wouldn't do that Sohail, every one knows Islam is the Religion of Pieces.
This is a breaking story, it will be updated as more information comes to hand.

O.J Simpson seen driving in White Ford Bronco screaming I didn't write the book.
The News Corporation, a major media group, says it has canceled publication of a controversial book by former athlete and actor O.J. Simpson, who was acquitted in 1995 of charges that he killed his former wife and a companion.
Right: That White Ford Bronco

The corporation said it is canceling the book, titled, If I did It, as well as a television special featuring an interview with Simpson.
News Corporation chairman Rupert Murdoch said today the project was ill-considered. He apologized to the families of the murder victims, Ronald Goldman and Simpson's former wife, Nicole Brown Simpson.
News that Simpson authored a book about how he would have committed murder sparked new controversy. Several television stations affiliated with News Corporation's Fox Broadcasting said they would not air the TV special.
Although Simpson was acquitted, he was later found guilty in a civil trial and ordered to pay the victims' families $33.5 million.
Fred Goldman, Ronald Goldman's father, speaking on CNN television, urged people not to buy the book or watch the interview.
Goldman's relatives said they would pursue legal options to claim any revenues from the book.
Simpson was accused of the murders after neighbors found the bodies of Goldman and Brown Simpson on June 14, 1994 in front of Brown Simpson's home in Los Angeles. They had been stabbed several times and Brown Simpson's throat slashed.
Millions of Americans watched Simpson's first trial on television. His legal team painted the Los Angeles police department as biased against blacks.
Simpson has always maintained his innocence.
BB: Sure OJ, keep that line up we might believe it in a few thousand years from now.

Wal Mart creating a Storm - Selling Nazi Symbols

Seems the proverbial has hit the fan at Wal Mart.
Blogger Bent Corner didn't realize the storm he would create when he noticed that the local Wal Mart was selling T shirts with The Death's Head symbol as worn by the members of the German Nazi SS. Wal-Mart is selling Nazi SS skull t-shirts
Since then he has had phenomenal traffic and the story has whipped across the Internet.
[Click read More...]
What's hard to believe is that in the 24 hours since, Wal Mart still hasn't managed to remove the product from sale, and the unfortunate event is that White Supremacist sites are now catching on and rushing to ' catch these now collectibles'. Their actually rushing to buy them. We have white supremacists rushing to buy up stocks of these.
White Supremacists record website, Resistance has this post
WOA!! N*gg*r*Mart selling Totenkopf shirts! [link is highly offensive]
This might suit Walmart, it getting rid of the remnants of their stock, but that's exactly what they were supposed to stop. Reports are coming in that all around the country people are seeing stacks of stocks of these offensive T shirts still not removed from sales areas. Wal-Mart is still selling Nazi SS skull t-shirts
Here's a picture of the death skull T shirt in question, it was taken by Bent Corner with their cell phone.

Here's the original symbol as used by Hitler's death Squads:
The Death's Head symbol was worn by the members of the German Nazi SS. The Totenkopf on the Wal-Mart t-shirt looks very similar to the divisional insignia of the 3rd SS Division Totenkopf. As you can see, It's almost an exact copy.
Neo-Nazi's sometimes use the Totenkopf image because it is not as easily identifiable as other Nazi symbols such as the swastika. You might see one of these tattooed on someone's arm while standing in line at Burger King and think it's just an poorly done pirate skull. It's not.
Left: A New 'Proud' owner wears her T shirt
One new proud White Supremacist woman displays her new recent purchase after Wal Mart was supposed to have removed the stock. She has the time to read about it on the web, decide to go shopping, drive there, find the T shirt and pay for it. But Wal Mart can't remove an offensive T shirt in more than 24 hours??
I wonder how long it would have taken if it was a t shirt like this one Walmart?
