Just an coincidence that the Arab league makes a Peace offer and there's a flurry of planning for terrorist attacks?

The discovery of a truck laden with one hundred kg's of powerful explosive and considerable shrapnel was a absolute blood bath in the making. That the truck exploded in Kalkilya due to a 'work accident', is fortunate to say the least. There is little doubt that it was destined to be used to create a terrible scene of death and carnage during Passover in the Tel Aviv area.

Its discovery just before passover brings back the horrific murders of 22 people and 140 injured on March 27 2002. This suicide attack was executed in the midst of a Passover Seder with 250 guest. It happened at the Park Hotel in Netanya. [More Details]

It unfortunately also bares a connection to the previous terror attack at the Dolphin Disco in Tel Aviv in 2001. Hamas's Kalkilya infrastructure was responsible for this attack as well.

21 people were killed and 120 were injured. The most shocking aspect of this suicide bombing was the deliberate targeting of Israeli Children. Of the 21 People killed, 11 were aged 16 years or younger, the average age of those killed was barely 18 years old. [ More Details]
It is known the suicide bomber was assisted by the Hamas's Kalkilya infrastructure.

There was a massive increase in terrorist attacks in the months leading up to passover in March of 2002, unfortunately there is evidence that Hamas may be preparing for another series of suicide attacks.

Coincidentally where the truck exploded, in Kalkilya there was another suicide bombing on Mar 28 2001.

Probably the hardest thing to stomach about this latest development is that in 2002 on March the 28th The Arab league announced a declaration for peace ( historically referred to as The Beirut Declaration), which was partially based on what was touted as a Saudi peace plan.

Immediately before this so called offer of peace there was a major escalation in terrorist attacks and suicide bombings, these increased in intensity even further. In fact the very day before the this 'momentous declaration of a peace plan' the murderous attack on the Park Hotel occurred.

In the preceding two weeks before the Beirut Declaration there were 8 major terrorist attacks.

In the next two weeks, Between the 28th of March Peace Plan declaration and April 12th there were 7 further major incidents of terrorism.

Isn't it remarkable that another peace proposal has just been iniated by the Arab league, and almost simultaneously there is what looks like the beginnings of an escalation in terror attacks.

Does this start to make you question the sincerity of the 'Peace gestures' and overtures the Arab League are making? Isn't it more akin to a powerful League of Arab nations, placing demands on Israel and threatening that this will be the last 'chance of peace'.

Exerting all the pressure it can to place the Israeli leadership under pressure by an orchestration and increase of terrorist attacks.

The offer of Peace by the Arab league should be seen exactly for what it is. Unreasonable demands and expectations which will never be agreed to, in an attempt to marginalise the State of Israel whilst at the same time, appearing to be legitimately seeking peace and making overtures of peace.

This action hoping to win favor with the International community so as International funding for the Palestinians will re commence.

Why is it every time the Arab league says they are offering a 'chance of peace' Israel is attacked with increased intensity by suicide bombers and acts of terrorism?

For an organisation that puts forward that it desires peace why is there so much sabre rattling going on and threats of 'the last chance of peace'. Does this sound like a organisation legitimately wanting peace?

If this is what the Arabs call 'gestures of peace', I preferred it when they weren't gesturing.

The reality of the situation is, acts of aggression by States have to come at a price. When the Arab States fought a war against Israel in 1967, there wasn't any talk of peace then, they were trying to destroy the state of Israel. Their aggression backfired and they lost territories, this is the price the initiator of aggression, who loses pays.

If the Arab states involved in the 1967 war had won the war would they now grant territory back to Israel? We both know the answer to that.
